For our 2014 trip, we are doing "Behind the Scenes Disney" for something new. So, I'd like to know...what's your favorite tour in WDW...is this worth the $229? Or should we do Keys to the Kingdom, then we have to pay park admission with it.....what do you think?

With 2 cp's under my belt, and over a dozen trips to the world, I was astounded at how much I learned keys to the kingdom. I would recommend keys to the kingdom to ANYONE, do it, it's worth it, you'll love it, and that's a promise.

Same here! I'm a HUGE Disney trivia nut and have done a CP and learned a ton from the Keys tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about Disney from the backside. I've never done the backstage magic but I know people that have and they also really loved it. It's pretty much a more in-depth KTTK tour with the rest of the parks. So depending on time and budget, I'd plan accordingly.

If you have never done a tour before, I would recommend starting with Keys to the Kingdom. Its only a few hour and a great introduction to the tours.

I did the Backstage Magic tour earlier this year - it was my first-ever Disney tour, and it was AWESOME! It lasts about 7 hours, and includes stops at all 4 parks (although you won't get to ride anything). We got to go behind the scenes at American Adventure, Tower of Terror, the parade warehouse at AK, took a visit to Costuming, Central Shops (which my favorite stop - we got to see pieces of several different rides being worked on), the place where they grow the topiaries (also very cool, and they even let us take pictures here), and then to the MK, where we arrived just in time for a front-row viewing of the afternoon parade. There is also a stop for lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I really, really enjoyed the entire tour - the guides were great. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it - I would definitely recommend it and thought it was well worth the cost!

We loved the Backstage Magic Tour!! I think it depends on your tour guides (ours were also awesome) our parade was at AK. They had just added AK the week we took the tour so that was a great surprise for us. At EPCOT for the UNDiscovered Future World tour we took last year we saw where cast members check out and return costumes and the salon where they were fixing the wigs for the characters. Ariel came in carrying her wig... so funny. Also a fab tour guide (yay Robert) from EPCOT Guest Services. Our tour guides for the multi-park tour were Disney Institute instructors and I think they have so much experience they add to the bus rides between parks. If you book using the Disney Visa you save 20% which is pretty good. We took the Mickey's Magical Milestones tour just before they canceled it (got Mickey ears:) at the end of that tour) but bless her heart the Magic Kingdom tour guide we had was so flat. She tried, but she was just boring. This was one of our tour guides http://disneyinstitute.com/facilitators/mark_w._matheis.aspx?f=2 Deena our other guide has disappeard from this list but her experience was international with parades and performers.
Anyway... another glowing recommendation.
