Backpacks

Last year when we went to Disney for Mardi Gras we brought in a backpack that had water, kid snacks, and diapers (for my youngest) into the parks. Were going back next week so the question is - Are backpacks still allowed since 9/11 and what are the rules for bringing water and snacks into the park? Thanks.

Uh...no signs of them stopping it anytime soon..sorry ;(

There is something about the searches thought that kill part of the mood of going in to the parks.

We've just come back and they are searching everything including packs (that's bum bags to the other Brits out there), but we had no problem taking in drinks and snacks. There are security guards at all the entrances, but as long as you are polite and nice so are they!
