When Back To The Future: The Ride closed in 2007, the common saying was “see you in the future”. Little did we know how right we all could be.

Len testa posted this to the forums, saying a hill valley land would soon be coming to Universal Florida, replacing supercharged. Could the delorian ride again?
I've not heard anything about this. My understanding is the next thing after the FF coaster replacing RRR is a Back to the Future re-do of the FF area. I could be wrong.

Made so discussion could not clog up the EU thread.

Considering the BTTF coaster in the Universal Great Britain concept art, I think this rumor could actually be true. Would be interesting to see studios receive a fast and furious and BTTF coaster back to back but it would definitely be an improvement over rockit and supercharged.

Well, whatever that is in the British concept art definitely isn't possible here. It would have to be a smaller, indoor coaster at the very least. Supercharged has a massive building, so regardless of what they do, I would hope they don't just settle for a simple retheme of the current lackluster ride, but I'm a lot more iffy on the idea of retheming all of San Francisco to such a dated property. I have no idea how accurate the assumptions are that the UK park will include a BTTF land, but it still feels more like something a fan would dream up than something Universal would actually do going forward.

I’m not a prolific leaker or anything, but occasionally people I know will share stuff with me, and then something will come out from someone else that lines up with that information. This would be one of those times, and if correct, I’m happy that BttF won out,

If you are at liberty to say, did you ever hear anything about what BTTF actually was?

Anything is possible.

It will be very easy to transition San Francisco into Hill Valley. And while I'd love for them to remove the F&F ride system... it could work for BTTF. I'd be ok with this as long as USF gets a practical attraction at the scale of Monsters or Ministry from Epic.

Gonna be honest, me personally, while I think BTTF is cool, I honestly think JAWS would’ve been the play as it is the one that the GP want back way more than BTTF, the concept of a “shark attack” is WAY more timeless in the long term than BTTF in the grand scheme of things, and a boat ride would be much better for USF than a potential screen ride that BTTF would probably be. I get a hill valley land would be cool, but there are multiple reasons why I think BTTF is the weakest choice for a comeback for the three shown in mega movie parade.

If what Brer Oswald said was right, and they were considering a Mack rocking boat jaws ride for Florida and they didn’t go with it, if this truly is a rerheme of supercharged, while I think it could still be cool, woild be the wrong choice, unless they COULDNT get jaws to work, or if BTTF is some new ride system.

That’s just me.

Jaws has to be a water ride and I doubt we will get anything on that scale again (cost) and to do Jaws justice it has to have robot sharks. That was a different time in a different age I think

Truthfully have no idea. Just that it was in competition with JAWS for the spot. I’d assume if Jaws was gonna be a full gut, this would be too.
hopefully. Though I would, as a jaws fan, would like to cope that somehow Bruce could return to Orlando, if we know more about what jaws is and not BTTF. It all seems unlikely of modern universal to re-use supercharged. And JAWS is the more famous one and the one everyone says to “bring back”.

It’s probably back to the future. Sure it’ll be good if it happens.
