When do the kids from California go back to school? I am planning a trip at the end of August and hope that the parks wont be sooo crowded.

It varies. Some go back the last week of August, and the others go back right after Labor Day.

Thanks for your quick reply Do you know how busy the parks are in the last 2 weeks of August? I just got back from Pirates and agree that it was amazing:sohappy:

Going the last week of August is better than any other time in the summer. There still might be some crowds, but less than the regular summer ones. For the most part, I think you'll be fine.

Nicole's right. A lot of CA schools don't go back until after labor day. But the last two weeks of August would be better then the first two weeks. Try to avoid weekends as much as possible.

some schools still go year round, august will be very crowded no matter what

I am a teacher so August really is my only option
