RobFL, the poster clearly says Mission: SPACE. I don't know what poster your looking at. The reason the marquee simply says "SPACE" is probably because the pavilion will simply be known as "SPACE" but the ride will still be called Mission: SPACE.

Maybe Epcot should reconsider naming the ride:

Mission: PUKE

I bet this ride will only make people "who get motion sickness" sick...Just like Spiderman, Space Mountain, Pretty much ANYTHING that MOVES!

This is a THRILL RIDE. There is never a shortage of people who get on thrill rides who really shouldn't. People vomit on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster on a daily basis--I saw one for myself (not a pretty sight)...Disney has just made it so that the vehicles can be washed easily...not a big deal. Disney has made sure we have known from day one that this will be a very intense ride--I don't honestly get why people are surprised that it is still designed to be intense...even Eisner said it was that way in his last Annual Report.

Hey I heard but don't think it is true, that it was goin to be like an indiana jones type ride but since the movies mission to mars did not do good, they were just going to make it a simulater. BUT I THINK THIS WAS JUST SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE MADE UP. I THINK.

This is VERY good!!! Think about it...this is costing MONEY to run (the Earth)...so...how long are they going to WASTE money by having that Earth spin BEHIND THE CONSTRUCTION WALLS???

Those walls will be coming down within the next couple of weeks I'd say...(not that the pavilion will open...but the walls will be down with a few makeshift kiosks explaining what it is or selling Space memorabilia.

Umm.. would now be a good time to mention it was only spinning while there were people on the site working?

Otherwise, it was shut off.

Well, it depends...were they JUST CHECKING to see if it worked...or was it on all day while they were there?

Because if it was shut off when they left...it was probably because they shut it off because they were leaving (kinda like, the last person out locks up)

But I still feel the same way if it had been spinning the WHOLE time they were there...and on multiple days.
