Trip Report Bach to the Future!

When this trip report hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious...dog poop!

For now, lets crank the engine on this report and warm it up!

This trip has been rescheduled several times over the  past 8 months, but now the  future holds a visit to WDW! And my trips dont run on regular gasoline. They require something with a little more kick: DOGS!

Joining me this trip is, Bach the Belgian Malinois!

He is a 1 year old Malinois and is training for service work. Above he is with my assistant trainer Elisabeth whi he LOVES dearly. We've worked with him since he was a puppy and she is imprinted on him.

He likes me too lol!

Bach is also quite the ladies man as he regularly hangs out with bith my female Malinois, Akira and Edith

As with ither dogs ive taken to train at WDW, this will be a wonderful experience of exposure amd adventure for him!

And in a stunning turn of events, there will be a (human) lady joining me this trip! Could my wife finally be joining me on a trip??? Nope! But her and I do have a December trip already planned. More on that later.

For this visit, ill be joined by...my sister!

I had to screenshot this picture of us because I dont have any in my phone, which justifies this trip together as we can make some good memories and get lots of pictures!

My sister is a VERY busy business woman running a construction development company and I have a small business myself so we don't get much time together aside from family events. But we bith love Disney and when I asked if she'd like to join me...she said yes!

For anybody new to my trip reports, im a fairly simple person. I train dogs, I like whiskey and white v neck tee shirts and certain Disney slang terms make me puke in my mouth.

Now lets get to the fun stuff!

Where: we will be staying at a resort that has yet to be given any slang names that make my lunch come back up and is also my new (low key) favorite resort that @Tuvalu likes to pretend was her new (low key) favorite resort first ! Wilderness Lodge!

When: Soon. Very soon.

Ill be heading down a day early and staying at Destino Tower for a night then over to WL where my sister will join.

Shes very excited for Food and Wine. And im very excited to simply return and have fun with my big sis!

Ill do my best to not be a slacker and post some details later today!

Back at WL and I hit Territory Lounge for some whiskey! I went with tje National 95, which seemed to be a whiskey drink

The sparkling brut was the dominant flavor. It was decent but I wouldnt order it again. I was about to order a proper whiskey but my sister text that she was here!

We actually didnt get any pics together. We were jsut chatting away and had a great time. We headed back to the room for a good night's sleep after.

Even my grandpa - who spent every day of his retired life at home in a white tank top and shorts - put on an ‘outside’ (short to be worn around the general public) shirt and outside pants before leaving his room at Disney to watch the water pageant!

We were up early to rope drop MK.

We arrived shortly before 9 but it was a MNSSHP night so we were hoping crowds would be low. Our first ride was PoTC but on the way we made a quick detour. My wife and I had been trying to play a game of sorts. The goal was for me to find a live streamer and get on camera so she could see us. She called me and said there was someone streaming near country bears to find them! A few moments later , we were on TV!

He let me give her a shout out and we chatted with him for a minute or two. Sean at Disney is his streaming account on youtube (I think). He was very nice.

My wife loved it and we were bith happy we accomplished our game

My sister hasn't been to Disney in over 2 years so she wanted to ride as much as we could and that was our goal!

We ride pirates after (no photo) and the HM (no photo again) but this was cool

Then Peter Pan, 7DMT (no photo), Space Mtn

Tron was next and we got front row! But again, no photo. But i did get this Lil beauty

After Tron we took a break to get Bach water and potty break near Big Top. We grabbed a Halloween cookie for a snack. My sister gave it 0 stars. I gave it 1. Dry and crumbly. Bach wouldnt eat any lol.

But he did like these..

Dumbo was next. Bach loved it! And yes, they dog can ride Dumbo!

We rode 7DMT next (again no pic) and then over Tianas!

This was a first time riding it for both of us. While we prefer Splash Mountain, it was better than we expected and will defin5be riding again. Did we get wet? Yes!

my ENTIRE right side was drenched! Good thing we were heading back to WL after this!

We did stop for Spring rolls before heading out

Bach was people watching whime we ate

And he always keeps an eye on my sister when I go to the restroom

Most of the times we stop for photopass he gets a small crowd stops to watch him. Tron was the funniest because she gave me the disc you hold for the Pic and he IMMEDIATELY thought it was his Frisbee from home and jumped for it. Everybody watching was cracking up.

We had a nice afternoon break at the room amd after showering up we headed back out. And I've said this before, but ill say it again, the mid day shower at Disney is such a joy for me. Its like a whole new day after getting cleaned up and fresh clothes. It doesnt even need to be hot out. I just like the freshness and clean clothes to head back out.

We headed to HS. If im not mistaken this was my 4th evening in a row at HS amd I wasnt complaining. We started at ToT. My sister wanted to something called "glam cam" which is some tike tok trend where you blow kisses at the camera and/or flip your hair and make the video slow motion. Ill keep you posted if she creates it. Here's us blowing kisses

Next was Runaway Railway. I noticed this lone hanging paint brush when you exited the train. There's nothing else hanging from the ceiling. Just this. I asked the CM if there was a story behind it and she didnt even make eye contact as she told me, "its a paint brush i think".

I googled it and here's what it got!

The hanging paintbrush at the end of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is a tribute to Disney Legend Ub Iwerks. Iwerks was the chief animator who created the original design for Mickey Mouse and helped develop the early animation process.
The paintbrush can be found in the final scene of the ride, right before guests exit. As the train enters the tunnel, look for a small detail that pays homage to one of the most influential figures in Disney history.

Pretty cool!

Next up was the Falcon!

I think I did a better job flying it solo the other day than my sister and I did lol. But we had fun. I looked over to ask her what she was doing and her eyes were closed. She said it makes her dizzy so she was just blindly piloting

We headed over to TSMM

I bested her, but in her defense its been awhile since she played.

We stopped at Geyser Point (jk it was actually Baseline this time) for a drink amd there was a young boy very interested in Bach. His mother had told him to stay away but I could see it in his face how fascinated he was. I dont mind children petting the dogs in training as its good for the dog to get used to the quick movements of kods and Bach is great with the children

Bach was just as enthralled with the boy. As he was getting pet he put his paw on the boys shoulder. The boy was laughing and loving it. It was a great moment for both of them.

We had one more attraction lined up for the evening but had some time to spare so we checked out a few of the shops in Batuu. My sister stopped to use the restroom and I was standing there with the dog and i heard someone say , "is that Bach"? FYI, whenever people ask me the dogs name i give them a fake name. This trip, I have been telling people his name is Meow, so when I heard someone say Bach it threw me off for a moment.

It was a very sweet woman who said shes been following our trip report on wdw magic amd recognized us! She told me she doesnt have an account but enjoys reading the trip reports. Everybody say hello to, Jenny!

We (non chick) chatted for several minutes and talked about everything from work to these forums. I did my best to encourage her to make an account and join in on the fun and I encourage you all here to say hi and tell her to make an account

You'd be surprised the amount of times people walk by or approach us and say things like, "we saw you and the dog in Epcot yesterday". If they ever ask the dogs name I use a fake one because the dog will hear me say his name, then the person Will usually say it too, then the dog is all curious as to people keep saying his name. Its easier to use a fake name so when they say it, the dog doesnt even look. We've had many people walk past that we have met prior and say , "hi meow"!

After meeting Jenny we headed over to finish the evening by getting captured.

After putting Bach in the kennel the hallway was empty so we took a Shirley status pic

Back to the resort for dinner and water pageant

Yesterday was Animal Kingdom day! I woke up with a sore throat so I decided an iced coffee would be a good pick me up

I also notice that I had completely scratched the crap out of my new sunglasses!! They fell off when I was exiting TSMM the night prior.

When I bought them the saleswoman strongly suggested I pay the $20 warranty to replace them if they get damaged. I said no at first but she reminded me I was at Disney and things can happen. I agreed and paid the $20. Thank goodness!

Soon we were at the park

And yes, my sister is very well aware of what I was doing with this picture

We rode Flight of Passge to start the day off then over to Safari. The giraffe stopped in front of our truck for about one minute. It was awesome
