Babysitting

Does anyone know if there is a babysitting service offered on site.
I am staying at WDW for the first time with just my partner and one child and would like to have the opportunity to enjoy some time out one evening.

Before we have the flaming torch and pitchfork brigade chasing us, branding me a lush and a bad parent, I just thought I would ask!!
Dont shoot me!!!

There is an outside babysitting service offered called Kids Night Out, who will babysit in your room. However, an even better option would be to reserve a space at one of the kids clubs close to where you will be that night. Examples:

MK - the Polynesian's Never Land Club, GF's Mousketeer Club or WL's Cub's Den
Epcot/DHS/Boardwalk - BC/YC's Sandcastle Club or Camp Dolphin at the Swan and Dolphin
DAK - Simba's Cubhouse at AKL.

Your child must be ages 4 through 12, and they are open 4:30 pm to midnight. I believe it runs about $11.25 per hour and beepers are given to parents in case of emergencies.

Thank you so much, we have friends from Canada visiting WDW and Universal at the same time we are there and it would be great to catch up with them and be able to give them our full attention.

Has anyone used the services, how do you rate them?

I have used the WDW kids clubs, specifically the Never Land Club and the Sandcastle Club. My son, who was 5 and 6 at the times, was shy at first but when I picked him up, it was hard getting him to leave!
