Astonishing. EPCOT news that doesn't make me burn my WDW souvenirs in despairing rage. Like I entered a parallel universe where somebody cares.
Awesome news! Everything sounds good. Imagery and effects over the thoughtfulness of Symbiosis, but I'll have it nonetheless!

Exciting to see something new coming to almost every original future world pavilion! Seas and Imagination, looking at you...
I'm curious about how they'll set this apart from something you could just do at home. Planet Earth, Blue Planet, Life, etc are all readily available on Netflix.

That always seems like the biggest hurdle with these projects. Since the Epcot transformation is in phases Disney doesn’t have to approve everything all at once.

It will be our job to keep this theatre full at all times so Disney understands that we still want things like this in Epcot. Can't get into Batuu? Hitch a ride on the Hot Boxes of Death to Awesome Planet!

Lion King wasn't a bad IP here, because it was a movie about Earth. The new film is a perfect opportunity to bring back a little "Listen to the Land" intro/outro along with my crazy idea on the other side of Future World -- some retro 80's Feel the Flow intro before the dreaded GotG testosterone monkeys come out asking us to come save the galaxy with them.
The theatres a bit small...
But hypothetically speaking I’m actually not adverse to the fan proposal of putting it in Showcase.
