Am I the only one that is avoiding any and all pictures and videos of the new mine train until I go and ride it myself ? I want it to be a complete surprise, so I refuse to watch any videos and look at any pictures.

Weird or not?

63 days and counting till I see it in person :)

I do this too. Beauty and the Beast is my most favorite Disney movie and the ballroom scene is my most favorite scene of all time. You cannot imagine how hard it was for me to avoid anything and everything about that before I went last year.

And when I walked in for the first time, it was just beautiful...!

I understand fully, I am pretty excited to experience as much as the "unknown" as possible this trip :)

I kinda hate movie previews for the same reason, at least for movies I already know I want to see.

I am also 33 days away and I refuse to click on any videos or pictures that may spoil my surprise for the 7DMT. I will be at DHS on 5/1 for the 25th anniversary and on 5/2, I'll be at MK for the official opening of 7DMT. I know both days will be very crowded but I'm still so excited!!!!

I'm the same. Wife likes to know how "scary" rides are. She wanted to tell me how the ride system was for harry potter and i didn't even want to know. I got to ride it with no idea! It was awsome!

Side note: this is also why i'm not stating whether this is an "e" ticket ride or whatever. I'm holding my thoughts until I ride the darn thing. Even if it's not a massive attraction doesn't mean it's not going to be good! Here's hoping.

At first I avoided this thread because I mistakenly thought it was some negative review of the Mine Train. Nah, I'm not avoiding all info, but I want to avoid too much negativity before I try it.

I have not watched any of the videos! I've stumbled upon pictures and saw parts of the outside in Jan. We are going back in 43 days! I can't wait to experience a new coaster! Brand spanking new!! Oh the glory :)

I feel this way towards the new parade. If a picture pops up in the picture of the day threads I will look at it briefly but I am avoided videos. I want to hear the soundtrack of the parade in person for the first time.

I love this thread. I've been like a Disney sponge of late absorbing everything I can (sheer excitement) but now after reading this - esp about the parade and the music I'm not so eager!!!!! :)
