Off topic, but does anybody know what the reasoning was for the dual chute configuration? I recall the boats just alternated between the two.

(I imagine it might have been unique to hold the first boat in order to have two drop at the same time, then managing the merge at the bottom. The fastest boat would get the other more wet. But as I recall, that was never the case.)
Probably just to increase capacity as it allows more frequent drops. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls at Islands of Adventure has a similar double drop.

It’s real, but it’s still a joke.

Anyway, we all know how this will good. People will see the concept art and think it sucks, the ride will open and it’ll suck, and then everyone loves it anyway. It’s how it is with all these Marvel rides.

I mean seriously. Even Mission Breakout and Pixar Pier at least made some sense and I understood what they were "trying" to do - this I can't even wrap my head around it. Assuming we'll get the full story at D23, but this looks horrible.

Not entirely sure how the concept art fits in with the blue print. Anyone want to put the two together?

It'll make as much sense as Mission Breakout.

I assume the concept art is of the transition spaces between the screens. Not sure about the docking bay one, but the others all show the track curving like it's going to the next aisle.
