I saw this photo of the Spider-Man ride and I'm confused, as I don't follow the Disney movies. Why are there big cartoon spiders and especially a dinosaur (???) in this?

I'm genuinely not sure if this is satire or not but those spiders are "Spider-Bots" that the plot of the attraction is based around and are designed to be marketable so they can sell them at the nearby gift shop. The Dinosaur appears to be an action figure that's a decoration in the pre-show room this art depicts.

This is Chapek's idea of good themeing.

Oh my, it's scary how close that looks to what's in Pixar Pier now. I'd even venture to say that Lemon stand on the left has better theming than some of what they put in Pixar Pier-

I meant, the dinosaur COULD be real. Marvel stories routinely revolve around scientific experiments (Spider-Man villains, in particular, are often scientists) and a one of the Runaways literally has a dinosaur.

What's a spider bot? I've only seen the ones with Tobey Maguire. Is it like in Minority Report?

Peter uses one in Spider-Man: Far From Home...in the bonus feature where Peter is checking off his list of things to do before he leaves for Europe. He uses a Spider-Bot to get his passport from the post office with a long line and minutes until closing.

So little recap from my sources. Through the campus but more particularly in the external queue we should find the S.P.D.R or spiderbots that are gradually invading the entire 2 Avengers campuses. By entering the building we discover what is the W.E.B and the project of its founders (who are the successor to Moon Knight (Lunella Lafayette) sided with the cute Devil Dinosaur shrunk with Pym particles, the successor of Iron Man Harley Keener the niece of King T'challa (A'di), and Peter Parker obviously), the Slinger. Everyone has made a contribution to the transport system, so they are each responsible for one of its functionalities. We then enter the preshow with a bit of a catastrophe, spidey explains the instructions. Robots multiply too fast, he needs our help. We pick up the glasses and board. Once embarked, c where the versions differ because after neutralizing the S.P.D.R in the premises of the W.E.B, it is necessary to save the rest of the campus so we re going to have the feeling of being outside. The robots are going through the pavilions ( Mission breakout underground in DCA) and since we won’t have the same ones in DCA and WDS, we won’t really have the same scenes. At the end of the ride, we manage to save the HQ of the Avengers. The order of opening of the rides defines the chronology of the events of the land. Robots will be kind of mechanical Gremlins. They multiply and ransack the campus.
At the W.E.B suppliers shop you can buy and manufacture your own interactive glove or your own robot which this time we hope will not multiply.

Sounds cute.

Let me guess. The robot bug is $100 and comes in different colors. We need a reservation to build one right?

Interesting... That would consistent with Hong Kong where the Ant-Man attraction chronologically takes place after The Iron Man Experience. I'm not sure if this is the best route though because guests are not guaranteed to ride these attractions in the intended order.

And again, assumes the A) guests are paying that much attention to attraction storyline timelines and B) anybody cares. This is the same faulty, self-absorbed thinking that gave us a “Star Wars” land without Yoda, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, etc, etc.

I don't have much issue with it, it's just that it seems a bit unnecessary. Why not give the attractions self-contained stories, especially if the extent they tie into each is so minimal that few people notice anyway.

It also assumes I’ve been dying to live out some Marvel superhero fantasy adventure of my own, instead of having some fun at a theme park.
