Avatars?

Hi, I'm a new member and am looking for a good avatar. I've noticed a lot of forum members have some great ones. Is there a particular site? Or are people creating them themselves?

Any suggestions?

Since no one else has responded let me say welcome to the boards. I don't know of any sites for avatars but if you want something specific I'll try and make it for you. Just let me know what you want.

You can change your avatar in the User CP. It looks like the one you're using is the only one available. If you want something different, just let me know what you want and I'll try and make it for you.

Personal Avatar

What do you use to make a personal avatar? I have tried using Adobe PhotoShop Essentials. Started with a photo that was originally 2048x1536 and resized to 160x110 and cannot get below the required limits in size. Have even tried as low as 90x75 and no luck. Keep getting the message exceeding maximum size. Any help out there on what to use or how to resize .....

your maxing out the file size not dimensions... perhaps you could go back to the original and crop out some of the extra area.. then shrink it... or if you have layres loose some of them....

Just turn down the quality, you don't need to crop. You can easily get it down by optimizing, then lowering quality in Files -> Save for Web in PhotoShop. Hope that helps.

I made my own.

Well, I didn't make the logo -- I wish I made those original Epcot logos, they're amazing -- but I added the color and all.
