I'm considering 24-30 August '08, but haven't committed as yet. DS12 will be starting Grade 8 the following week and our traditional week-long February trip [taking him out of school] is looking less appealing.

End of August is pretty hot and in hurricane season, but crowds aren't too bad and there might be free dining offered again...

We are booked for August 8-15th. We can hardly wait. We are taking our 14 year old niece to WDW. She has never been on a plane before much less any roller coasters or even Disneyworld. We took her older sister 6 years ago and had a great time. Now it's her turn. We booked a timeshare villa (offsite) that has plenty of room for all of us to have our space. Although we have 4 pools at the resort, we are considring the water parks option for the tickets, but haven't decided yet. Our niece wants to go to Blizzard Beach. She saw it on TV. She also wants to see the Spectromagic Parade and is dying to see Animal Kingdom. She wants to be a vet when she grows up. There is so much to chare with her about the magic. Have to wait to make ADRs until Feb, but we are planning. Since we are staying offsite, we will try the Anti-EMH strategy I have seen people talking about. We know it will be hot, humid and rainy in the afternoons. Typical Florida in August. I can't wait to see her face when she sees Cinderella's Castle for the first time in person. Good thing we booked the airfare a month ago. The prices went up $72 per ticket. :sohappy:

We got free dining plan too, such a good deal. Never stayed at Yacht club before, soooo excited! Anyone offer me any info on what is like? We normally stay at ASM so its a big upgrade!

We have our bounceback reserived but I think its a 99.99% chance we cancel that and go to dl

Me, my fiancee, her parents and brother and my parents and sister will be there from 9-16 then they leave and it will be my and my wife from until the 24th. Going to be having my marriage at the wilderness lodge on the 12 so if anyone wants to see heehehehe. Also going to to be at the pop century resort the whole time.

I'm pretty sure that we'll be there from the 19th of August until the 28th. I need to get it booked!

OK, just booked two studios for the 18th to the 28th! Let the countdown begin.

We are coming back on August 21st until Setember 6th.
DW and 12yr old DS and myself along with friends Paul Lisa Jake and Sam.
We cannot wait and we are counting the days.
