Yes! My husband and I went in and then walked into the next room trying to find the show/ride/something!
Same... we went through to the next area expecting something amazing to continue on with the show ..... only to find ..... props & costumes???????

I'd like to bring up both nutrition-themed shows in The Land. Though Food Rocks at least gave us Fud Wrapper, who is awesome.

With a replacement or with nothing in the building.. Sounds Dangerous was better off closed either way.

The old new Journey Into Imagination, at least because they replaced it with the new new one. (That makes sense, right? o_O)

I totally agree. The first redo of Imagination called, Journey Into Your Imagination was really, really, really, really (you get the idea) BAD!
Even when I was younger, I remember thinking that it was the first Disney Ride that I actually hated. It felt kind of weird to hate a Disney ride, but it screamed CHEAP the whole way through. It's still pretty bad. So much dead space, and again screaming CHEAP! The original Journey Into Imagination was a ride that you could experience over and over and see something different every single time.

I'm sure I will hear about this. 20,000 leagues under the sea. you went down into a mini sub which was hot and went around the bottom of a pool once. And there was really nothing to see down there but a few fake fish.

Captain EO...and now anxiously awaiting that moment again.

Never did Idol but couldn't stand the big screen outside while walking around the hub so I'll count it.

And I'll revive this thread when they replace Judie Dench on SSE.

Journey into Narnia.... What a let down. I was expecting something exciting and thrilling that would capture the movies action. I think they rushed it into place and lost the blueprints mid way.
I think the problem is one of hyping, and of overselling. Narnia is from that time when Disney marketing sold every prop they put on display as 'an attraction'. The way marketing nowadays sells every change as expansion (Cut a tree? Send out a press statement about 'sightline expansion!').

In itself though, DHS was a great place for some temporary exhibits about current or past movies, if only they are sold as such. Even Narnia: Prince Caspian (not the live show) had a place, it was quite good for what it was, if by 'what' one understands some 'cool props, storyboards and exhibits' rather than 'Narnia attraction'. Sadly, WDW began to believe the two were the same, at least that the audience could be made to believe that, until Potter knocked some sense in their heads - and in the Orlando audience!
