Attractions you think will get better But don't

It's not a BAD attraction...
but they tell you it's going to be a different expereince every time...and each time I saw it it was essentially the same. Same jokes. Same kind of people they pick from the audience.

I have ridden splash mountain a hundred times...and I STILL see something different each time I ride.
But for a show that's supposed to be different each time? and it's the same stick joke every time? That's kind of sad.

Actually I've seen it about 4 or 5 times and when I went they had different jokes and segments.

I do think it's improved over time and the audience interaction is unique, and fun. I just don't like the location of it, DHS would have been much better.

Kali River Rapids for sure. Not a bad ride by any means but I was practically bone dry getting off of it. Not that I mind, but we waited 40 minutes in line for somewhat of an underwhelming raft ride. I was waiting for the big waterfall or the big splash, it never happened. Just thought more from a Disney ride. And when you compare it to the Congo River Rapids at Busch Gardens or Popeye's ride at Islands of Adventure it's just different and not as well done. Usually a Disney ride blows anything at Universal out of the water and you don't even bother comparing Busch to Disney, but not with this ride. Plus it wasn't LONG enough. Three minutes........if that.

Boy I guess you were on the side of the raft towards the top of the drop. I dont ride Kali unless it is very warm because I come of soaked every time haha. I will agree though that it is crazy short for a very long line.

Maelstrom. The first time I rode it I thought it was going to be the best disney ride ever... Then it was suddenly over... That's it? That's all there is? I do like the ride, but there was so much they could have done. I wish they could make it longer.

It seems like Maelstrom is more like a advertisement for Norway then a ride but it is a nice little ride to beat the heat and get a little wet in Epcot. Could be made alot better though.

Just saw someone mention Lights, Motors, Action in another thread and I'd say it deserves it's place here. Been to it twice - moderately enjoyed it the first time, the second was definitely bored. Overall I think it won't have the long term appeal of Indiana Jones. I know every trick and line in that one but its still a must for me every trip. LMA just doesn't deliver the same way IMO.

I agree completely with with Lights Motors, Action and Indiana Jones both getting boring after seeing them enough times. And I know they're are always people who have never seen either but I think they should change it up a bit I mean when was the last time the Indiana Jones shows changed?

If I had noticed this thread first I would've put my LMA feelings here, seems more appropriate. Been to it twice, didn't enjoy the first time, even less the second time. It's not that I don't like stunt shows, I think Indiana Jones is great.

Yes, they do use the same jokes. The only reason I went on that more than once was because I forgot how it was like returning to the World. After going on, I went on again later and thought I was essentially receiving the same exact show, but I wasn't laughing nearly as hard.

The COP, it may be a great big beautiful tomorrow....but boy it sure is boring....And for the Country Bear Jamboree that is just a nice place to cool off and kids take a nap....

If anything ever happened to either of those attractions other than some nice plussing and TLC, I'd cry. No, really. I would.

Regarding Lights, Motors, Action...I've watched it twice, enjoyed it both times, but I do think the setup needs some help...the show takes too long and it's a lot more out in bright sunlight than the Indy show, so it feels worse sitting there.

I realize that many of the stunts etc. have to be very precisely coordinated, but I think they should just skim the show down a bit, or make the flow of it more easy to set up.

You have no need to worry I do not think they will ever change the COP or Country Bears. They have to leave some of the original feel of magic kingdom in the park. Besides they could not fit Jack Sparrow playing the banjo in with the country bear band

Good point - the down time in LMA is a lot worse than Indiana Jones. I'm surprised they haven't skimmed it down a bit - it would save them on costs and allow them to put on an extra show a day to eat up more crowds.
