Attraction schedules

When I took my nephew to Universal last February, we went to the two parks on a Tuesday. This was poor planning on my part because apparently Jurassic Park was only running Friday - Sunday and that was pretty much the only thing he wanted to do outside of a pool in Florida.

So we're going back in May this year and I don't want to make the same mistake twice. I would rather avoid going there on a weekend if possible, but hey maybe the traffic there and back would be lighter on a Saturday? Anyway, does anyone know where to get a rehab schedule or attraction schedule for the Universal parks so I can figure out which day(s?) to head over? I can't find one on the official site.

You'd have to call them to find out rehab dates since they don't post them online.

I can all but guarantee that a Saturday in May will be somewhat crowded... Especially with Harry Potter having just opened..

That's why I was trying to avoid a weekend day =) But if that's the only time JP is running, I'll make that sacrifice for the kid. I just want to explore Hogsmeade.

Huh? JPRA is open 7 days a week... just like every other attraction. If you get there while it's closed for rehab, it's not going to matter what day of the week it is. That's not how they're scheduled. Rehabs usually last longer than a week anyway.

I was just wondering if there was a place online to find out the schedules for running the attractions, but it looks like we'll be switching the trip to August anyway.

I thought the same thing... went there and didn't see it. I know Dudley is closed right now. It always was listed there on the hours page. :veryconfu

Universal doesn't run their attractions on any sort of weekly schedule. Some less popular attractions may go "seasonal", which means they remain closed during off seasons, but a major attraction like JPRA would be open regardless of attendance levels. I can only assume they were having problems with it while you were there.
