It seems every time an attraction is announced to be replaced, there's always a cry of "There's no time to ride!". Well I was bored and decided to see how long the "last call" period has been for the attractions replaced in the last 10 years at WDW. This sheet will be updated as more attractions are replaced.

Anyone who thinks the up to 1 year notice they give of plans to close a ride isn't enough really needs to visit a Cedar Fair/Six Flags park, where the advance notice is 5 days after it closed forever and your only official announcement is the demolition permit filed with the local township

For a really wild comparison see if you can ferret out when it was generally known on this board vs when it was announced. Sometimes it is revealed but not announced until much later and the reveal may be intentional

Yeah, I feel like most of these we either knew here or the replacements had been announced, so we knew they were going away, but just not when. Splash Mountain specifically we knew was going away long before it actually closed.
