Christmas Day seemed veeery dead at MGM. The rain cancelled both the Christmas parade and the Spectacle of Lights. The Fantasmic shows went on as normal, but I heard that only about 500 people were in the 8:30 Fantasmic!

Yes, we did cancel the parade (can you believe they still had us out there as if there was a parade going on?!) and SoL. We had a delayed house opening for F! (rather than a normal 4:30 opening, we opened at 5:30) and nowhere near normal house numbers for either show. The first show had more attendees than the second, as usual, but there were more than 500 people at the second show. For safety concerns, I cannot tell you exactly how many we had in house for either show, but it was more than 500. And no matter where you look, you will only get guesstimates on attendance numbers, not exact numbers. Only CMs get the exact numbers, and we are not allowed to publicly release them.

I was there Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the 26th.

The longest wait we had the entire time was 15 minutes. The weather was pitiful with cold rain and wind. There were more people leaving than going to each park.

On Christmas eve, Pooh averaged (from what I saw and experienced) about 20-30 minutes. Space Mtn was about 30 minutes, though we walked right on several times during the day and night. BTMRR was a walk on for us several times and ToT and RnRC was the same.

I was very happy with the low crowds, but the weather flat out stunk! It improved quite a bit today (Monday) and the parks hit capacity.

I was told by a Bus Driver that Downtown DIsney was packed during the rain... the movie theater sold out all of it's shows according to "AL".

Actually^^The number on Christmas wasn't that big...i heard just over 50% of the projected attendance for that particular day. (meaning probably an average day at the MK (about 40,000 folks))

Is there a place we could go to view daily, monthly, or yearly attendance figures?

That'd be a good idea, but I would think those numbers are for Disney personnel only.

As far as the weather goes, yes, it was rainy and gross both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It really didn't clear out until Sunday night. :(

 Last year, the park closed at capacity around 1 p.m... I still remember taking the resort monorail to the MK entrance and bypassing the 40000 tourists still stuck in line for "the only way to get there", quoted from a parent in the other line...

Christmas Day wasn't busy at all. My family and I were at MGM that day, and MGM has only one bus stop for all 3 All-Star Resorts. We waited an hour and a half in the freezing cold rain for a bus. One came every half an hour. I will never rely on Disney bus transportation again.

As someone who worked that day, I assure you, buses were running much more frequently than that. However, due to weather and situations, perception does have a way of making it feel 2-3x longer than it really was.

We were in Epcot on Christmas day, and the crowds were moderate. When it came time for our CP show, 8:15, we were lined up down past Japan. By then it had stopped raining, and more people seemed to be out.

Although it was dead, attendance was significantly higher than that! :)
yeah I think they can hold 1500 in Tarzan Rocks alone. Even when the park is dead there is much more than 3000.
