Atlantis excursion questions???

Ok, so I am very intersted in going to Atlantis during our cruise I am in the early planning stages of. (Would not be going until Nov 2016) I see that the waterpark package including lunch per person is quite pricey, coming in at almost $600!!! Now I went on the actual Atlantis website, and noticed they have discounts all over the place for basically free waterpark entry for your entire party if you book a room. As of right now (2014) I can book a one night room and have free access to the waterpark for not even $300.

Had anyone booked a room just to use the waterpark before? Is this allowed at all? Would I get in trouble for trying to do this? It would seem like we would just need to take a taxi, check in, and be good to go. We can always go to the room to relax or change or water ever, but will I get in trouble if I don't stay overnight? how is checkout handled at the resort?

I'm just looking to save money, and cutting and expense like that in half would be worth it to me! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

People do it all the time with the partner hotels that offer the waterpark perk.. its pretty much a defacto way of doing it. I haven't heard reviews for doing it with atlantis itself.. but should probably be exactly the same. I imagine some web searches would find similar hits.

Thanks and I didn't know they have other smaller hotels surrounding Atlantis that offer this. Will have to dig more! $600 for an afternoon at a waterpark is just too much money, but if I could go for half the price or less I am in!

The Comfort Suites is the hotel that is commonly used for its free Atlantis access. They are fairly used to people checking in and out at the same time I believe.

We have booked the Comfort Suites before and it was pretty easy to do. Booking a room at Atlantis would work as well. Be careful of all the taxes and fees. They can truly almost double the quote by the time you are done.
