It did have one thing tho....Another catchy song from the Sherman Brothers (Which sounds a lot like Jolly Holly with Mary)...Sad will never hear it in the park anymore...

I can remember waiting for hours to do that walking tour back when Epcot opened. I also remember playing that touch-screen game (cannot believe that they had those back then) where you had to sort different color luggage on a conveyor built to the proper airplane. And what was that show in Communicore where you would sit in a theater with a bunch of people and watch clips of things and then vote? Am I remembering this correctly? There was a host that would ask poll-type questions and once the entire audience voted, they would show the results.
That was the Future Choice Theater where you took The Epcot Poll.
The Theater is where the Big Rotunda is in MouseGears.

Those sound like fun! I remember seeing in a video of a touch-screen game where you had to assemble a United States flag.... That looked like fun, too! Now I wish I had a time-traveling machine....
Oh, you could spend at least a half day in the Communicores alone back in the day.

I kinda missed my opportunity to experience all of that due to my ignorance of what was in there. I did get to see the computer central show. I remember the little guy jumping around from machine to machine and I also remember the queue going up the (stairs?) or was it a ramp. I just remember going up something. For years, I just passed by both East and West because I thought that there wasn't much in there. In the words of Cher... If I could turn back time...

It makes about as much sense as "cloud" computing through web based interfaces.
A LOT of sense to management for resource management and expense controls.
Cables are cheaper than controllers.

To build on that, the mid to late 80s and 90s were a time of decentralized model computing...

I guess for back then, it was exciting. As I mentioned before, some of the interactive games they had at Communicore seemed fun.
