These changes sound great. The only thing I am not sure about is the changes at Nine Dragons......sounds like it will no longer be table service.

I really hope with all of these restaurant refurbs we might one day see the long rumored sit down American restaurant. America really needs a respectable restaurant to represent this country besides some fast food.

I couldn't agree more! There's a fantastic restaurant in Gettysburg, PA - the Dobbin House - that I always thought was perfect in theming for the American Adventure. It's located in a house that dates back to the 1700's, and there is a more upscale restaurant upstairs, where each room is themed after a room in the house (some tables are made to resemble beds, etc). Then the basement is like a tavern, with a real spring running through it. There is dim candlelight and the furniture consists of non-matching hodge-podge pieces that are hand-crafted.

I went to college in the town and it was one of my favorite places to eat. Disney should use it as inspiration.

It looks very promising! Interesting part about the Alfredo's management being surprised..I would have figured it was their own idea to branch out. I wonder what the real motivation for Disney was to drop them in this case.

Maybe the mediocre, overpriced noodles? :lookaroun

I hope that the new sushi venture in Japan will be a good one. currently we have to trek to Kimonos at the Swan in order to get sushi..they're good, but more overpriced thanI think an eaterie at the World Showcase would be.

Too bad there isn't a Vietnam in WS....Vietnamese food is to die for!

Yeah to Tequila Bar in Mexico :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Anyone know how they added seating to San Angel? Did they just cram more tables in there??

One of the old shops adjacent to the San Angel Inn will be the tequila bar and yes, they added seating to San Angel by taking some El Rio queue space out.

Anyone know what shop might be going away? I have to check the interior of Mexico on my next trip in 2 weeks. Have not been inside there in a REALLY long time. I might actually try nad check out all the stores in WS. It's time to give them another look.
