Finale Challenge: Disney's Snow Crown Lodge
Located in Denver, Colorado, this new resort is a must do for snow sport aficionados, and a luxurious get away for those who want a peaceful visit to the Rockies.
The whole resort contains two slopes for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, two indoor slopes for rainy or hot days, hot springs for swimming, a creek, a large lodge building at resort center, many DVC log cabins, a restaurant, and a small amphitheater.
The main building for the resort is at its center, and contains A TON of rooms for guests and visitors to stay in. The creek that runs through the property travels through the lobby like in Wilderness Lodge.
Scattered throughout the property are log cabins. But these aren't your grandfather's log cabins. These are more like luxury homes simply built out of timber. They are DVC properties but can be rented by non DVD members.
Atop the indoor slope in the center is Elsa's castle from Frozen.
There are two indoor slopes to serve similar purposes to the outdoor ones, except on bad days.
A new small amphitheater is located near the main building, and presents a musical stage show of the Frozen story, now called "The Snow Queen" to tie it in with the resort. Some major numbers include "For the First Time in Forever", "Let It Go", "In Summer", and "Fixer Upper".
We hope you choose to visit the Snow Crown Lodge in Denver! Brrrrr...See you then!
