I recall seeing this attraction on Travel Channel about Disney Studios Paris park. Would you think they would have built it at D/MgM If the movie did "good" out here in the U.S? And at least have a competition on Universal's Twister Ride it Out?

The set is the Russian Space Station. Whilst not as big as Twister or Backdraft (the set is the stations circular control room) the effects are convincing - especially when all the smoke machines have just been filled up! If you thought the fire effects at Indy or Cat Canyon were hot, then Armageddon is toastie!
