I don't know why they're altering the hairstyles from how they look in the films. The hair is honestly the one single thing that tells you who the girl is supposed to be more than anything else.

She's only in the dress at dining locations and Epcot. She's still available in her seashell glory at Magic Kingdom.

Looks nothing like what Ariel would wear IMO. Why didn't they use a dress from the actual movie? I see they also are having a hard time finding people who actually resemble the character as well.
