Ariel's Grotto and Pooh's Playful Spot to Close April 11th?

From the Allears.net weekly newsletter in their All Ears Hears section (which is unconfirmed information passed onto them by readers):

... from Annie: We were just in Disney World... got back last night. A cast member in Ariel's Grotto told me that the area (including the grotto and Pooh's Playful Spot) was closing on April 11 to start the rehab [for the Fantasyland expansion]. We were so glad to get to be there one last time before it changes!

Hadn't seen this posted or heard about it on here, so just passing along what I read.

I know it's been posted Ariel and prince eric will be moving into the adventureland vernada area (ariel will most likely have legs like in the parade and epcot resturant) while stitch goes back to tomorrowland... Wasn't sure how soon it was happening though.

Awwww, a little sad! Now before you all beat me up... hear me out! I did enjoy PPS with my children. It was a wonderful little place right there in FL where they could burn off some steam. The place was really nicely themed especially in the night time. I loved the little lights strung around and the Pooh music that would play in the back groud. Such wonderful memories of my kiddies when they were little!

I know a lot of people hated it because it "replaced" 20K... but standing on it's own it was a nice little play place!

I'm not devastated... always happy to see things change and this change will be for the better I believe!

Bye, bye PPS! You'll always hold a special place in our hearts!

Interesting that they are starting in one of the higher traffic areas....

Is this one time Disney actually meant that something that was meant to be temporary was actually... temporary????

It appears so...I just can't wait for the Ariel part of the expansion to finish, and Beauty and The Beast. Those are my 2 favorite princesses, and the best part is that Ariel also has an "E-ticket", so it makes it way more appealing than the rest.
