Ariel Animatronic video

Kinda creepy looking but atleast it moves fluid.

I just hope the version in Florida doesn't end up getting turned off for like five years like the Yeti.

I think the creepiness may have more to do with improper lighting and the lack of details like lipstick.

As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as a D ticket, e ticket or any other of that nonsense anymore. Discussion as to what level an attraction is quite frankly is stupid and moot anymore because its all based on opinion. To some, this may become a must see and a headliner....to others it may not.
Except that they are still used internally as it provides a common framework for the scope of a project.

Ride ratings were great until the realized what a flawed idea it was. And Ariel does actually look like reba...except at this point Ariel might have more real parts. (BTW, love Reba)
Angus Wynn realized it as a way to try and one up Disneyland but his parks still lacked all of those charming little things that make for Disney magic.

I agree with others that it looks weird... Hopefully because neither of the figures are finished. Right now Ariel's hair looks super static to me and her eyeliner looks overdone, but I'm gonna wait until I see the final products until I judge. Ursula looks amazing, but she's all done, and Ariel's only partway there.

Yikes that thing is kind of scary. Almost like a possessed Chucky doll.
LOL!!! That's hilarious... Yeah she did look a little creepy, but I know they're not finished with her yet. My oldest did mention, though, that she looks "funny".

I wouldn't worry about the animatronics breaking and being turned off for years. Unlike the Yeti, they don't have the power of a jet-engine and could take down the entire structure if their base broke. These guys would be a hell of a lot easier to fix.
