Are Royal Court and Royal Palace the same?

Trying to plan what night I want to do Remy. I am leaning towards the night we'd have Royal Palace considering Royal Court on the Fantasy was my least favorite of the three rotational places...but if there is something different about it I might reconsider...

I have not yet been on the Fantasy, but I believe they are similar, but not exactly the same. If you have the first seating the ceiling and possibly the walls at Royal court changes from day to evening. It has been a couple of years, but I seem to recall Royal Palace being my least favorite, I barely remember it. I always like to try places for myself though so

I think you're remembering Enchanted Garden. That's the restaurant on Deck 2 that changes from afternoon to evening.

The Royal Court restaurant is the more "formal" dining room and is themed with lots of princess symbols. Those restaurants on the Fantasy and Dream are fairly similar. IMO, the theming in the Royal Palace (on the Dream) is a little more "cartoony" than on the Fantasy. I personally liked the Royal Court better. But if you didn't like that restaurant on the Fantasy, my guess is that you'll have the same reaction to Royal Palace on the Dream.

ppppffffffftt! Thanks Chuck!! Epic fail for me today! Guess it's time for me to hit the Dream again, lol

P.S. You have to add the Fantasy to your signature.

I know it's suppose to be formal, but wood paneling walls don't exactly give it that formal feel as much as it makes it feel old...Enchanted Garden I thought would be a better idea as far as formal dining with the ambiance the lighting creates and the light fixtures that are flowers opening I felt were a little more romantic than wood paneling...

Any excuse will do. :) "Hey honey, I booked us for 4 nights on the Dream. Why? Uh, well. . . I got a trivia question wrong."

P.S. You have to add the Fantasy to your signature.
I know, but I haven't come up with a good, short saying that uses all 4. Got any suggestions?

Personally I liked Royal Palace decor better than the Royal Court because it felt more "royal". Court felt more ordinary to me. Everyone is going to have a different take on it, tho.

Royal Ct. felt like an old northeast house with paneling walls, bad lighting, some bland carpeting, and a lot Princess and the Frog pictures hanging on the walls...

Royal Palace on the Dream felt like a standard dining room on any ship… the only thing I liked was the bread basket and food of course. Plus I did enjoy the way the waiters and waitress dressed. I didn’t feel anything special once in their. Like Enchanted Garden and the theming… OMG! Plus Animators blew me away!!!

Oh… yea forgot to answer the question… so in other words if you did it on the Fantasy I say go hit Remy.

The Fantasy has the beautiful tile mosaics of the princesses as it's advantage to me but I missed the princess nods in the light fixtures and other finishings. I thought it wasn't as over-the-top on the Fantasy as it is on the Dream.
