Answers..

1. odds are slim against seeing Mission:Space

2. The Flower and garden festival starts on 4/25. So you won't be seeing it.

3. The parks will be very crowded and lines will be very long.

4. Depends on the attraction. Test Track will have lines that will be around 2 hours and fast passes will be gone in the early morning. Other popular attractions will average 60-120 with fastpasses going in early morning.

5. Not sure of any special things that go on there that day.

6. There is a chance Timekeeper will be open.

7. Rehabs (from WDWIG)...

April 2003

Disney MGM Studios

Great Movie Ride will be closed for refurbishment from February 24 through April 13.

Epcot

The Theater in the China Pavilion will be closed for refurbishment March 26 through May 22. During this time, the new movie, Reflections of China, will replace Wonders of China. The Gallery, merchandise shop and restaurants will remain open.

Downtown Disney

Forty Thirst Street (West Side) is closed and will reopen in Spring 2003 as Wetzel's Pretzels.

Beach Club - "...Beginning January 3, 2003, the Shipwreck Slide will be closed to guests so we may begin a refurbishment effort. We expect the work to be completed by April 4, 2003. The Stormalong Bay pool will remain open for our guest's enjoyment during the time the Shipwreck Slide is being refurbished......During this time, should you wish to have a slide as part of your pool experience, please visit the Luna Park pool at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. The Luna Park pool is a 190,000-gallon pool that features a 200-foot long slide called the Keister Coaster. Shuttle transportation will be made available during this timeframe for our guests wishing to take advantage of the nearby pool experience."

Polynesian Resort - the longhouses are being refurbished one by one. Each longhouse under rehab is walled off (and very little disturbance to folks staying there). Tentative schedule is:

Samoa: January 6-April 20, 2003
Hawaii: June 1-September 27, 2003 (Service will be moved to another longhouse)
Tonga: September 14-December 20, 2003
Niue: September 28-December 20, 2003

Aotearoa, Fiji and Tuvalu have been completed. Rarotonga has not yet been scheduled.

Keep in mind this schedule is not set in stone and is subject to change.

Shades of Green - Construction - Rehab Ongoing - Re-Opens December 2003

Ohh, July is much more crowded than April. Well, actually it depends when Easter falls this year. If the week you go is when Easter is, the crowds should be bigger. If easter isn't near the week you're going, the crowds will be less than they were in July.

Some answers

1) Very slim I'm afraid (I'm there 9th to 23rd, but keeping my fingers crossed)
2) No - but they will be setting it up so you may be able to wander around
3) Yes, quite busy and long queues
4) Honestly depends when you get there - somebody has to be first in the line after rope drop - but if you leave it until mid afternoon you could be waiting 90mins - 2 hrs for Splash Mountain

7) MGM's Great Movie Ride should be reopened
