I was watching a video with tips on BOG, and the narrator mentioned getting the French Onion soup with a snack credit in addition to the meal. Is this actually possible, and if so are there other items and restaurants that you can do this at?

The French onion soup is available as a snack credit. There are Mac n cheese dishes at Eight spoon in AK that are snacks. Mara at AKL, you can get soup.

At some point WDW expanded (and possibly contracted?) what they consider to be a snack credit item. This spreadsheet

still has at least some soups listed. I didn't scan the whole doc but I saw clam chowder at Columbia Harbor House and soups @ BOG during Lunch. But admittedly I don't know when the spreadsheet was last updated and it could be wrong. I did find it on a website page that was updated in December but that doesn't mean the spreadsheet was updated too.
