When using tha annual pass, is it possible to add-on the dining plan when you plan your stays?
Yes. The only real difference is it is booked as a package vs. a room only reservation so the deposit, cancellation and payment terms will be different.

You would book it the same as a room only just adding the dining plan ( Whichever one, there are the three to choose from) The only difference between this package and a "regular" package is that this one doesnt require you to purchase theme park tickets as you have an Annual Pass. Belle

Nope. You can book an AP room without an AP but you will need an activated AP when you check in. Drop me a line and I can get you rates and get you all booked up.

Where are valid places to Activate the Annual Pass? I assume the Main Entrance of AK, MK, Epcot, & DHS, + the TTC, but is anywhere else valid?

Can it be activiated at any of the Disney Resorts?

How about activation at Downtown Disney?

You will need to activate it at one of the parks or DTD. The resorts can do next to nothing with an AP. From what I remember they can't even sell you one. For the most part if you are checking in with an AP rate room and you have a voucher or are getting an AP when you hit the parks they will let you slide but as a general rule they will want to see your AP before you check out.

Thanks for the info! Do you happen to know exactly where in DTD it can be validated?

There are 2 gust services locations at DTD if I am not mistaken. One is on the Westside right behind Planet Hollywood next to the bridge leading to PI and the other is next to WoD in the Team Mickey store behind Ghirardelli.

Yes, folks that are APs NOW would... but people thinking of BECOMING APs need to understand: there are no AP rates - no guarantees that ANY discounts on room rates will be offered in a particular year.

I wish WDW WOULD do this... just pick a discount percentage, and apply it. But they do not.

The only one that yields that much power, and even they have limited availability, are AAA; and this is only due to the sheer size of their membership.

If an AP room discount was guaranteed to all AP holders, everyone would purchase an AP - just to get the discount.

Well the summer months are normally a little more rate wise than some of the other months such as September, January, Fenruary etc. Most of the rates that are given are just examples to give you some idea as to what you would be looking at to spend for that type of accomodation. The rates that are offered are good at all of the Disney resorts at varying pricng and availability. I have always told people to never count on the rates but when they are released generally they are a pretty good deal. I hope this helps!! Belle
