Would love those extra hours for AP holders. What are the crowds like for something like that?

VERY minimal crowds. Only 3,000-4,000 people and seriously short lines. Sometimes you'll get somewhat of a line for the popular rides, but it's still not bad when you compare the lines to what you would see on a regular day.

I have to say, we really miss DL. Although we have two WDW trips coming up (oct and dec) we can't stop thinking about DL. We loved it this past summer!!!! Amazing! Just felt so much more comfortable.

At least you have the luxury of visiting both!

Don't worry, the good thing is DL isn't going anywhere.:)

Up next, screenings of Thor: The Dark World will be held on October 26th through the 28th in Downtown Disney. Before the screenings, APs will be able to check out the new Thor exhibit in Innoventions and have the chance to receive a free gift.

@Cosmic Commando Can you say bad timing?! UGH!
That's my thing. I got a special behind-the-walls tour of Expedition Everest when it was nearly complete, but we were about a week away from people being allowed it ride it. I could have seen the yeti moving! :arghh:

These are so much better in DL! In fact, nothing like this exists for APs in WDW. So looking forward to this again next summer in DL, whatever the special event may be.
