That's great. Glad everything is okay. Be safe during your travels.:)
Thanks. Will do. Thats why we canceled Carthay Circle and moved it to another day. We were hoping to leave Phoenix and get to DL mid afternoon, get our new APs, then head to eat. But, we decided to hit Northern AZ for a few days and take the longer, scenic route from the north to Anaheim. Will be best to take our time and not worry about a reservation.

Another quick question. What time would we be able to purchase our APs in the morning. CA opens at 7 am on monday. Would we have time before that, or should we just get them this sunday when we arrive. thanks again

The more scenic route definitely sounds like the better option.

You should be able to buy your APs when the parks open. Do you have access to a computer and printer? I would buy the APs online on the Disneyland website then just pick them up at one of the windows. If you can't do that, I would buy them on Sunday, when you arrive. There are going to be a lot of people at the ticket booths in the morning, and you don't want to have to deal with that. I know from experience.

I guess we will just get them Sunday when we arrive. Thanks

I bought my family's APs online in May 2012 before the giant price hike. We just brought the vouchers to the turnstiles (entry gates) when we went to our first park on the trip. They scanned the barcodes on the printouts, gave us some kind of paper ticket for the day, and told us to go to the ticket booths later. I think you have to do it before you can park hop or re-enter. The actual transaction at the gates took like 20 seconds, though... that's the way to do it! I wouldn't risk a long line at the ticket booths first thing in the morning. Go in the afternoon when there's nobody buying tickets. They send you the ticket voucher as a PDF that you can save on your computer or put in the cloud somewhere online, so you don't have to worry about losing it.

I thought the general offering this week was pretty rad, but I'm not available 5 days a week at 8am so I couldn't enter the drawing (makes me worried about who IS available to do it and poor Jon Storbeck who has to deal with them).

I agree. One of the few weeks the AP Limited Time Magic event didn't outdo the regular event. Unfortunately, I have jury duty this week ( :arghh: ), but I signed up anyway, just to see if I would get picked; I didn't. I remember you telling me about the DPB "Mickey and the Magical Map" event and how miserably awful the questions were. God bless this upcoming event... I could tell just by the replies of those who got in, it's going to be just the same as the "Mickey and the Magical Map" event.

Good Lord, I will never forget the shame for humanity I felt during that Q&A. At least no one can ask when Tony Baxter is getting a window thanks to the D23 announcement.
