Does anyone know if I get a discount, if I am a AP holder, when purchasing regular tickets?

Let me know!

THANKS!

No, I don't believe that is a normal AP discount. They may run specials at times but normally that is not a perk of the annual passes.

Looking in the 2002 book that came with mine it says 20% off regular admission to Downtown Disney, Disney Quest and the Water Parks only.

I just talked to WDW about other things and they said there is no discount on additional passes.

That depends...

oftentimes, you'll find that the ONLY discounts available for on-site resorts is with an Annual Pass. Generally, these discounts are among the best. Three years ago when I visited the World, I asked about an AP discount (you have to call, they don't always have the information at the resorts) for staying at Coronado Springs. Although there weren't any discounts SCHEDULED for that time, they offered discounts probably because of low activity. We stayed for 7 days and saved $40 a night. It pretty much paid for the AP. Add the discounts you get at meals and at stores at DtD it MORE than paid for itself.

I must admit though - it was also a key reason to visit WDW again about 6 months later since we still had the passes. We got a discount at the resort then too.

If you're going this summer though, it sure looks like the best deal is the Fairytale Vacation Special - 7 nights for the price of 4. Woo hoo!

Oh...

And another thing!:slurp:

One of the great things that I love about being an Annual Passholder is the feeling of freedom you get.

What I mean by that - there are days that you're just TOO pooped to participate. It's nice on those days to just relax at the resort in the morning and play in the pool in the afternoon and THEN decide in the evening to go see the fireworks or something at a park.

I find when I have regular passes, I feel like I am ripping myself off if I use a day for less than every second the park is open. But - that may just be me!

If you do need to purchase regular park passes and want to save money, please see the prices on my website. I offer discounted tickets to WDW and many other Orlando attractions.
I myself am an AP holder.

This is a big reason why AP's are nice! I feel exactly the same way; I find myself running ragged because I don't want to waste a day. Yet the year we were able to treat ourselves to an AP, I found us to be much more laid back with our days. and.......somehow we found the time to go three times in that one year period.
