I've heard rumors, but I hope it's not true. We just got AP a few months ago and are hopeing for discounts in May. That was one of the reasons we got the APs.

Hi there Pumba, I had heard the rumours as had Pam from Kingdom Konsultant. I spoke with her a while back on these and we had thought that the room only discounts would continue, but perhaps not on the MYW packages or something like that. Shortly after that conversation the current batch of room only discounts came out ( from Mid Feb to Mid April) I still think that the room discounts will continue. I am not so certain on the package discounts as thus far none have been offered, but it is still early in the year and the last package type of discount that was offered did span until mid April if I Am remembering corrctly. I spoke with a cm the beginning of the week about summer AP rates and she said to look for the rest of spring and first of summer rates to be out either the end of Feb. or the beginning of March. :sohappy: That was good news. I will post if I hear anything else!

It was just that - a Rumor - I have booked several AP discounted rooms for my clients in the last month or so and I'm sure Pam has prob booked 100 more than me! 
The plan early on was to restrict the discounts but disney quickly realized that's never a good idea - and that many people count on those discounts to travel every year... so by the 10th of January, they had them back on the books - limited at first, but there nonetheless... As a few others have said - look for the summer ones to come out in the next month or so!
