Codes are out through beginning of August. Just got the code from Mousesavers and got the WL, Courtyard view for $179/night, regular price is $275..plus it is always hard to get WL. It was almost $100 off a night, whereas POFQ was only $35 off a night, so I jumped on WL. Only waited 1 minute. Reservationist told me this just came out a minute ago. Mods are $144/nt, Beach Club standard $229. Code FJY. Good luck, everyone!

I already booked my room at regular price for 6/19 & 6/20 and I plan on buying an annual pass when we get there. Can I call them and change up my reservation for the new price?

You need to call with the new APholder code as soon as possible to have it applied, but you DON"T need the AP when you make the phone call, you just need it at check-in.

Just Be Aware

i jut got off of the phone. actually i called twice and had two different CM's check for me to insure that i got the correct info.

briefly some background... i currently have 2 Annual Passholder with Dining reserverations for june. the first is a 7 day at the Pop Century, standard room for two people, and then after that stay i move over for a 6 day stay at the Movies for 1 booked in a prefered room. again both are the AP with Dining.

okay so i called and had the CMs check and they COULD NOT apply the discounted room rate code to my reservations because they had the dining option on it and when they checked the NEW AP with Dining code the only VALUE that was available for the dates i am there was the All Star Sports. I checked the Caribbean Beach and it would be $200 more for the first dates. Since i am meeting my older daughter and her hubby and my grandkids at the Movies, the later dates, i did not want to move to the Sports just to save $120.

bottomline.... there are only a few rooms available at the VALUES at this new code for the AP with Dining. now that is unfortunate for me since i would have liked to have saved the money.... HOWEVER, perhaps it is also a good indication that perhaps the AP with Dining offer was a very successful offering for Disney. Since this was the first time it was offered the perhaps it will become a frequent offering in the future.

I agree. Even though POFQ was available, it was only $35 off per night discount, whereas WL was almost $100 per night discount, so it seems they are trying to book the deluxes for summer.

I just modified my reservation. The CM told me that the discount code (FJY) could not be used to modify my existing reservation. So she cancelled my existing one and made a new one. The only thing that kind of stinks is that no rooms were available at POFQ.:( So we got PORS instead which is fine I guess. Also they had to credit me back my deposit that I made on the first one. I used my Disney dollars from my Disney Visa as payment so it will get put back on the card. I saved $90 though!!:sohappy:

I hope you plan to spend more than a few days there this year, otherwise you will spend way to much money on an annual pass.

Ksccar,
Not sure why you couldn't modify your existing reservation with that code. I just modified mine yesterday afternoon when they came out. 2 nights at POR with the new discounted rate. I still have the original confirmation # and they just moved my deposit over. Sounds like the customer service rep may not have known what they were doing in this instance.

Same here I called yesterday afternoon and applied the AP code to my July reservation at Pop without any problem. Sounds the rep Ksccar got wasn't sure what was going on. :veryconfu

I saw this in another thread. This is why they had to cancel my existing reservation. I booked it on the internet..

JPVonDrake said:
If the Guest would like to add rooms, change their resort or change their discount offer, the reservation must be re-booked. Funds cannot be transferred from the existing internet reservations to the new phone reservation. A new deposit must be taken and the old deposit is refunded back to the Guest's credit card.

OMGoodness! Thanks for this thread! Just this evening I persuaded DH to go to WDW next year for some golf and that meant I should buy an annual pass for that trip plus my July 2008 girls-only trip. Now I should be able to splurge a bit for the July trip plus buy the DDE and save over $300.

Thanks a million!!

One of the best perks of having an annual pass is discounts at WDW resorts. THere is one right now for $144/night for a moderate and $179 for Wilderness Lodge, for example. You can have savings of 30 to 40 per cent on resorts with these room codes. Right now all the deluxes are having very good discount codes for summer, better than the moderates. I rarely receive notification from the passholder website in time to take advantage of these. You'll find out about them first here or at Mousesavers.com. This is for annual passholders, not florida passholders.
