Anything planned to mark the premiere of Star Wars The Force Awakens?

Just wondered if there would be loads of hype etc in the parks when the Star Wars film premieres in December? Anything special?

Coming from the UK the day before the release thought we might get to see a stormtrooper or two at the cinema at downtown disney also hope to book tickets to watch it. Excited 6yr old and 40 something!!

A fp+ will have to be reserved next month to be able to buy a 200 USD meal reservation at the kiosk, with a guaranteed seat outside the cinema so you can listen to the movie.

I'm secretly hoping for a starwars-o-rail.... I'm visiting in November so I figure I'll be there right at the start of hype season! And any thing Star Wars would be Awesome!!!

We plan on decorating an evergreen tree to usher in Winter and show love to our families as well as peace on earth and goodwill towards men.

We will also buy presents for our loved ones and pretend they are delivered by a fat man who drives a sleigh thats pulled by flying reindeer.

The nigh before, people of many religions will attend services to mark the occasion.

All kidding aside, I wouldn't be surprised to see them do projections on SSE to look like the Death Star for Ep VII (like they did Mike Wazowski for Monsters University).

There's no way on God's Green Earth they're going to anger the entire Candlelight Processional going audience for that.

You've mentioned that, but the time of release is immaterial. They will have to promote it somehow regardless of the season! I do hope they do something for it, maybe not on the spaceship earth projection scale but something special.

Mark my words, there will be little in-park promotion for this. It simply wont need it.

I will bet you one flaming Italian car so lets say a drink at epcot or equielent that they will death star SSE.* I really don't think they will over the next 3 yrs but after that that ii could see it becoming the centerpiece of whatever replaces Illuminations.
