Anything new on the Christmas Country Bears?

On a positive note, that rehab is apparently fantastic, and everything looks and sounds great.

I sure hope so. I was there on the 27th the last day before the walls came up and they looked like the Bears "REALLY" needed some TLC...By curiosity has there movements improved...Like American Adventure AA Improve?

No one said it did. WDW Management includes the VP o f the parks.

That's odd because my friend who works Engineering Services in that area said the audio has been fully remastered. They must have done some work since he was in there last.
I was just mentioning it since a few people I know think that and I wanted to make it clear since I was talking about it anyway, but not that you said that or anything. They have remeasterd the audio to go with the new speaker systems, but many of them haven't been installed yet. I think they're all there, just waiting. I saw one of the old speakers and I swear it looked like original 1970's :ROFLOL:

They are not upgrading any of the figures, but they are getting an extensive cleaning which should help a lot. Some of the figures were so bad, they were removed entirely instead of being worked on in their spot.

Yea I heard the remastered audio is terrific, which is definitely welcomed.

And about the speakers. I'm sure you've heard the wonderful queue audio coming from the Jungle Cruise? Well they replaced the second floor speakers, which my friend who did the job said they were almost rotted through, and hadn't work for almost 10 years. It's sad that these things get neglected so much.

Nice Avatar BTW!

Thanks :)

Funny enough, I just strolled through JC two days ago and was thinking what they had done ... In my years of working there, I NEVER heard the audio so clear and crisp! I'm not surprised they were rotted (*cough* dock *cough*), Jungle doesn't get the love it deserves. Come to think of it, most attractions don't.

Yea, I'm not gonna lie, that dock was scary before it got replaced. I've heard Jungle will get some love in the future, but it won't be for about 2 years.

You think the dock there was bad? There is currently no floor in the dock office at Tom Sawyer's Island. It's been a lot longer since the dock has been replaced, but it does take less wear then Jungle. Quite funny when you open the door, though.

Expect the 2 years to be longer. Space Mountain has been expected to go down "next year" for a few years now.

I'm ashamed to say it, but I've never been on TSI.

And I figure it will be longer, but 2 years is still far enough away haha.

The Xmas show did not bring in that many more people.
The downtime to setup and take down is too long and costly for little benefit.
Not enough complaints were received after it was discontinued.

Once again, Christopher Liar, you are COMPLETELY, TOTALLY and UTTERLY WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!
