Last time I was in Disney/MGM the movie ride was closed, I have read some info about things Changing but I was wondering if anything did change in it? or is it going to change? Thanks

Actually I would like to add to WDWmom's question...I know they have changed the ending film montage a few times...but have they ever added to the movie trailers that are shown while you are waiting in line?

Don't the movie trailers in the queue reflect scenes contained within the ride? If that is so, they wouldn't add new trailers unless they added new scenes, right?

3 weeks!

The movies are the same as you stand in line. I think they should add some more movies because it's so short and you see the same loop a dozen times (at least) as you wait in line.

They changed the script of the ride and I think it's dreadful. I rode it in the end of February and the woman who was our "Tour Guide" was, perhaps, not a good actress or just having a bad day. We couldn't wait for the ride to end to get away from her (she also had the most annoying voice I've ever heard). With the new script, the ride doesn't seem to be the same even though nothing really changed within the ride.

The ending montage still gets me everytime

I do enjoy this ride, but it needs some serious updating. And the movie montage at the end too could also use some updating or cleaning up.

Yes the good ole GMR, as for changes wdwmagic is right on the ball, the new spiel is new but changes are few and far between. According to rumors i have heard this is all part of a five part rehab for the attraction the next rehab while currently unscheduled will include adding new movie scenes on the tour. As for the movies in the queue those shouldnt be changed as they are "previews" to what you'll be seeing on the ride and adding new clips strictly for having more stuff would ruin the theming. As for the tour guides while some are definitely less spirited then others a lot of it has to do with the script. They really cant deviate from it or else disney can get in big legal trouble.
