Can anyone at the parks currently comment on how the weather is effecting their trip? I am trying to mentally prepare myself for humidity from hell and heat that is insane.

I guess we're in for some serious punishment =(

Let's just say that here in Baton Rouge Louisiana, I started doing yard work at 8:00 am....average temperature for the day was about 81F.
By 11:00 am, I was positively drenched with sweat and overheating because we were running at 100% humidity.

So....good luck!

EDIT -- Just checked this out:
Kissimmee, Florida
Temperature: 84°F(77°F/84°F)
Enlarge View

Feels Like: 104°F
Relative Humidity: 100%(100%/100%)

It's also hot in May (upper 80s)- and we didn't find that to be too bad. However, I would like to know how it compares to now.

May feels better. It's HOT, but bearable since it's dry; not the rainy season.

It's going to feel like it did in May but a little more humid and also you are going to get the afternoon rain storms which will cool off but at the same time increase the mugginess. You are going to sweat no matter what.

We just returned home on Wednesday evening. It was quite warm and humid, but we did not find it unbearable. It rained every afternoon for up to 20 minutes. However, it was quite a bit cooler after the rain. We found that if we went back to the resort and took showers, late afternoon, that we were comfortable in the evenings as we continued our touring.

The crowds were light. We were even able to sit in the bench on the porch of City Hall to watch the Festival of Fantasy parade without anyone blocking our view. Sleeping Beauty was doing a meet-n-greet to our right, as we faced Town Square. She took the last little girl by the hand and brought her out to the steps to watch the parade...with her. Definitely a magical moment for that little girl.

It's unusually humid this year down here, even according to locals and CMs we've talked to. I don't recall it being this humid since we started coming in 2008.

It has rained every day since last Friday, except for yesterday but most of it has been light rain and it cooled off a little afterwards.

Like others have said it's been really hot/humid. It's rained ALOT and at unusual times, aka the other day it rained at like noon(usually it rains 2-5pm ish and stops).
And most of the rain has been pouring and most of the night after it starts, although from the 9th on its been lighter.

We arrive next week (9/19). Been keeping an eye on the weather report and it is definitely the typical rainy/humid September season. I'm going to take my Camelbak back pack this year to help stay hydrated while in the parks. It gets humid here in Ohio, but nothing like Florida. Don't let dehydration ruin your vacation!!! Other than that, go with the flow and have a great trip. Take breaks when you need to and you will have fun.
