Anyone seen room discounts for after Nov 5th? :)

For my dates, 12/1-12/5, the least expensive option right now is $170+ for Caribbean Beach. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade from AoA right now as it would be a couple hundred dollars more. I've never stayed in a Moderate, only the values, and especially since my stay is so short, I don't think I'll have enough time to really enjoy the resort.

I think the parties will be packed. people will think they can walk on the rides. Word has it Disney sells about 20,000 or more tickets per night to those events.

Unless that's the only time you're going to be in the MK during your trip, why ride anything anyway? We plan to spend our time with shows, parades, fireworks, etc. and save the rides to other days we're in the parks. I'm sure those things will be crowded too though. As I've said before, you're going to Disney World, did you think that no one else was going to be there??? lol

It's not like it used to be a few years ago when everything was a walk on. Maybe the stock market will crash or some other good stuff will happen.

I think 20,000 tickets per night is too high. I've gone the past two years and the only ride that had a long wait time was 7DMT. Best time to hit those high demand rides? During the second parade time.

Yep always has been that way for me....usually saw the evening parade one night but the rest? Big Thunder 3 times in a row in last train seats while the fireworks are going off is my ultimate memory. One just must remember to be on the right side of parade route for whichever attraction one desires..... This will be my first Christmas party at the MK.....I mostly did it so I can enjoy two evenings in the MK, but am looking forward to a few extras of the experience.

As of last night, I was able to get the discounted off applied to 6 more of my clients that I could not get on the day the most recent discounts were released so you may want to recheck. It looks like they opened up some availability

THanks Pam I just checked again and nothing, but will keep rechecking. I read its good to check again 45 days out as many people cancel at that juncture if they are going to do so. Think because its the WL and its at like 1/2 capacity because of refurb, they are not opening very many rooms at discount. I already have a ressie and called them and they said they have nothing available....but their inventory changes daily?

I would continue to check daily. Also since packages must be cancelled by 31 days prior (final payment is due at 30 days) I would check at that time too. 45 days was when final payment was due last year but has since changed.
