It's absolutely not worth the several-hour wait (which is a lot more manageable now with the third theater), or the old-school mad dash for FP's in the morning, but I know plenty of people who count it as their favorite ride in any Disney park, and it draws terrific crowds to The Land who stay for the boat ride, so it was a smart move to add it.
I honestly feel like the film isn't that dated, but if replacing it means getting a better Epcot, then I'm all for it.
It was used for presentations at Epcot's 25th. Aside from that I dare say yes it has.Isn't his voice still used for the lion king show in animal kingdom?
Also, seems like there's a lot of stuff you could do with that theater space. There is a huge amount of room forward of the screen and the first row if seats. I've often wondered if this space wasn't intended for dual use purposes with live presentations. Has Disney ever used it for internal presentations at any point?
