They have been there since at least june 2001. After you go over the brakes in the middle of the ride, look down and you should see some stuff.

forget exactly. Haven't been on the ride in a few months. I do remember seeing one somewhere on the ride...but...it has been a while since I went on it. I could be wrong about the smashed car. I filmed the ride a few times so I'll look in my videos to see if i could see it.

They let u bring your camera on there? I tried to film Dueling Dragons and they said "Sir ull have to take that camera off and put it in a locker" they do the same to Kumba too.... I filmed Space Mountain but the thing didn't work so it messed up the tape 
. hahahaha i was filming up the lift and the guy announced. "TURN THE CAMERA OFF OR IT WILL BE TOOKEN AWAY." i just sat in my lap and continued to film and at the end, i filmed some more. hahahaha they go so mad, i wish i could do it again.:lol: :lol:

I tried with video cameras but they wouldn't let me on, so I got a cheap little digital camera that could take mpg movies. I kept it in my pocket until i was about half way up the lift hill, and then started filming. It came out ok, except there was no sound. I did all of the coasters at IoA this way and dr. doom.

Oh Man! That must have been so tight, Is there anyway u can post the videos? Too bad it doesn't have sound, my Aunt has one of those and hers came out with sound.... She filmed it in Africa.
How much do those cameras cost? I want to get one to film the rides.. I would much like to try on Kraken or Hulk or Kumba or Montu. But i hear there alot of money...

Wait...are the tanks new???
I have been on that coaster quite a few times and have NEVER seen them!!! This could be some nice theming if they continue to add more (maybe some "near misses" with the coaster as it zooms down!)
Same with DD...add some torched and frozen peasant homes that the coaster flies through!

So there bran new, I think they were allitle older than that though, cause i went on my trip before June and i saw them..... or it must have been new at that time, cause i remember seeing them over the corkscrew, and that was something i didn't notice before..... But still a smashed up tank isn't really heavily theming....

I do have the videos of all of universals coasters on a ftp. You could get to it by going to

To get to them, you have to go to the uploadz folder, and then the woofboy111 folder. Once you're in there, you should see my uploaded videos. I also have an E.T. video and a Woody Woodpeckers Nuthouse coaster video uploaded, but they are in different folders and I forget where. (Thanks to popkid for giving my access to his servers. Cameras prices range from cheap to lots and lots of money depening on what you want. My digital video camera cost $600 originally, but now you could get them for about $300 (this is the camera that I use to film all of the parks rides, except for the coasters). The camera that I used to film the coasters with cost about $150, and can take still pictures, and about two minutes of video with the memory stick that comes with it. (For $80 you could buy a 128mb memory stick that can hold about 1500 picture or about a half hour of video).
Also, by saying that the tank was there in June 2001, I ment that that was when I got my annual pass and it was there then. I'm guessing that it was there before too, but I had only been to the park once before that, so I may have missed it.

Hey...at least it's SOMETHING...although...if they want to call that theming...they need help (Maybe if they made it look like a warzone and have a broken boat in the area where it goes under the bridge (like you're breaking through the ship)
