I don't understand how they don't have backups for this sort of thing. To lose a whole park for over an hour is just poor show and poor planning. Can you imagine if this would happen at Magic Kingdom?

(I was going to mention this happening at Animal Kingdom, but I think Jurassic Park probably was a lesson in what happens when power goes out at theme parks with animals )

I would have been so disappointed if this had happened when we were there for just one day two weeks ago. As it was, many big rides were Delayed Opening when we got to MK for early EMH, but they all opened at 9am so it wasn't a problem in the end. Made us nervous for a while though.
