Has anyone else had the same experience as I have when you call Walt Disney World?...
Sometimes I get the nicest, most helpful person & other times I get the rudest, least helpful person.
I happened to call today & the 1st time I called, I got a nice person...the 2nd time I called I got someone who was just not very friendly.
I guess I need to hang on the line a little longer to complete the online survey about the phone call.

I was always lucky. All CMs I spoke to on the phone were exactly how I expect them to be. Friendly, kind, helpful and competent. I have to admit however that I preferred to talk to female CMs because they were even more helpful than the male ones.

I talk to quite a few CM's every week and 99% of the time I get a good one. On that rare chance I get one that is off I just cut the call short and call back. With the number of people they have to hire it is inevitable that a few of them will not be Disney quality.

I have never had anyone rude on the other line. I guess some of them just have a way of sounding more excited for you than others.

The ones that deal with travel agents are usually the more senior CM's - usually.

I always have the greatest chats with DRC CMs. If anything it distracts from getting done what I need done, but I wouldn't change it for the world! :king:

i've had fantastic luck all but one time and it wasn't on the phone it was with the club level cm's at the boardwalk last december. made me never want to stay at that resort again.

I've had many a conversation with the CMs and bookings and have never had any rude encounters with bookings. Yes, I've had some fairly impartial ones but usually I know what to ask for and what to expect so I don't mind the impartiality. I have had some who just talk and don't listen...answer questions you're not asking because they don't hear you out. I usually just move on, book the trip and don't worry about it.

i cant say i remember a rude cm but i almost always get a cm that is not so knowledgeable... basically they can tell me what there computer says and thats it.

i think we're usually pretty lucky. we usually deal dial the red dvc bat- phone, but i've never noticed poor guest service. they "pretend" to be far more concerned than i occasionally am- lol.:lookaroun
