Anyone have pics of the bunk rooms at Wilderness Lodge?

Thank you so much. I see on All Ears that the renovation was in Feb 07 or around there and they didn't have an updated pic of the bunk rooms.

I love the bedspreads and headboard. I'm so excited to stay there. I was a little worried about the top bunk but I see the railing is nice and high. My kids are going to split who sleeps where so they both get a turn. How is the lighting? I read that the rooms are dark? Is that true?

No, I did not think so. The colors of the room are darker so it does not have the "bright and airy" feel one would get from staying at the yacht club or something. But that is not what you are looking for at the WL - you want the resort cabiny feel. Light comes in from the balcony double doors - but I suppose if you are on a side of the building that doesn't get the light for as long, yes it could be darker. It was not anything I noticed though. I did not think that it looked or felt dark to me.

Thanks so much for posting some more pics. My husband and I visited the lobby when we were on our honeymoon. It's always been a dream of ours to stay there. Since we get the awesome military discount we were able to upgrade this year. I can't wait!

I'm going to call baloney here. People make that "the rooms are dark" comment about the Poly all the time too, but it's just the colors in the room.

I had no problem applying my makeup or finding the toilet in my rooms at the Poly. I'm sure it's the same type people who complain about the rooms at Wilderness Lodge.
