Opinions please? We are probably going to share a meal one day while there. I'll eat half a burger and share half a Filet with Colleen. Is it worth doing or should we stick with the Filet?

The burger is the only thing I have ever got there and is the only thing I will ever get there. Not to mention the fries are fantastic as well. Add a bowl of the Cheddar Cheese Soup and plenty of breadsticks (mainly the pretzel bread) and you should be good as far as food goes for the rest of the day :)

:veryconfuwoah woah woah, best filet at il mulino??????

As a prime steak connoisseur, I must interject with all due respect, and state that Shula's, at the Dolphin Hotel across the way, has a much better cut altogether. I don't think Il Mulino dry ages their steak or even gets prime grade unless they literally get it from Shula's at the hotel next door....someone can correct me though....

DD got it when we were there in March, ordered it med-well and it was pretty raw so she did not enjoy it at all. She's sub'd cream cheese mash so she ate half my filet which was amazing but a very small portion. I tried a bite and the onion ketchup relish on top was yummy but I would caution you to verify the pinkness when you order as some don't want their burger bleeding.

As a former 'habitant of the cellar' I really suggest the Burger! Fresh steak burger cooked to your specifications, topped with your choice of blue or cheddar cheese, and served on a sourdough english muffin. It is absolutley amazing! You can have it served with thick cut steakhouse fries or spicy potato salad. Now, this isnt your Canada Day picnic potato salad! Its made with a vinergarette and pepper flakes to give it a bit of a kick, and is delicious! Have it with a Moosehead and you're pratically Canadian!

Agree. But for lunchtime I believe there may be a clause in the man rule for allowing burgers. Ordering the burger during dinner though will get you kicked out of mantown for sure..

Agreed there is a clause that allows for lunch but you would be kicked out for ordering at dinner :fork:

We are going to Le Cellier for lunch for the first time this trip. We are already having trouble deciding what to choose. I wanted the coffee rubbed steak, but apparently they don't offer it at lunch. (I might ask for it anyway to see if I get lucky :slurp:) Maybe the kids will order the burger so I can taste...

Not old, just vintage.

Go with the prime rib sandwich. You won't be sorry. Throw in cheddar cheese soup to start and a chocolate moose for dessert and you have a perfect meal.
