Anyone Going the First Week of December?

We will be there on 11/25 (the Swan), returning on 12/3-12/7 staying at CR.

Anyone else going during that time and also anxiously awaiting F! and Candlelight Processional packages?

On a different note, what is the weather like in Orlando that time of year? I'm from up north so anything above 50 will feel tropical, but does anyone know if it's going to be sweatshirt weather? Or will it still be warm enough for shorts?
Regardless, nothing will keep me off Splash Mountain!

Average temperatures run between 75 high/57 low. For me, that's very pleasant. You could get by with shorts during the day, but you'd likely want pants and a light jacket or sweater for late nights out in the parks.

An example I'd like to add: I did a solo trip in December 2013, and was doing a day at EPCOT. Weather was very nice and comfortable for shorts and t shirt during the day and when I went into Coral Reef for my dinner. By the time I came out it had gotten dark, and cold enough that I had to go to the main gift shop at Epcot and buy a $60 hoodie because it was not fun being out in shorts and t shirt anymore.

Pick a number anywhere from 35-65. ;)

Last year was uncharacteristically warm.
But I'm always cold in Orlando anytime past Halloween.
I'm sure it's all relative, but I refused to visit my friends there, coming from South Florida, anytime after Halloween Horror nights until end of April. But, now I live in the Midwest, so I'm hoping it will feel warm to me this year!lol

We will be in the Bahamas on 12/2, and I'm absolutely dreading the fact that my son will want to be in the ocean the entire time. I may be the weirdo in a wetsuit!

I'm not skipping. Since the park will be open later than the last time I visited, I'm going to do Wild Africa Trek in the morning. Then I have plenty of time to do everything else.

I'll be there with my mom from 12/11 - 12/17 - staying at Pop Century, and hoping to be celebrating earning my doctorate (knowing that my trip is now about 175 days away is real incentive to keep writing and keep on track. It would be amazing to go on this trip without school hanging over my head for the first time in over 4 years!).

I'm SO excited to be there before Christmas - I was there over New Years once, and we got there on January 3 last time I was there 5 years ago, and they were just starting to take the decorations down. I definitely plan on doing the Candlelight Processional and we'll probably get tickets to MVMCP too.

Congrats on the new degree!!!! I'm so excited too!! The WDW portion is a complete surprise for my kid, and neither of us have ever been during the Christmas holidays!

Wifey here. We are awaiting the CP release, so that we can just book a dinner at Rose & Crown, but we don't need a package. Nothing is showing up as available, even if you don't want the CP package yet.

Aside from thay, SUPER excited to see the Christmas decorations, especially in the deluxes! We are staying at BLT, and plan on hitting all of the deluxe resorts for a Christmas decoration tour if you will :)

Fun! We are staying in the tower at the Contemporary and also doing a monorail and Wilderness Lodge "decoration" tour!

We will be there 12-1 thru 12/10. Looking forwarding to Candlelight Processional - we usually watch it several times but only once with reserved seating. We are staying at Shades of Green, compliments of my sister. Love the big rooms there.

We love going during that time, but it was more crowded than usual this last year. We are actually in the process of planning a trip during that time this year as we speak. We went 11/30-12/8 this last year this year looking to go 12/3-12/7.
