Anyone ever played Hide and Seek in a park?

I have never done this myself but some friends and I were either planning for Hide and Seek or a scavanger hunt. I think both would be a blast. The scavanger hunt we were just going to take pictures of things and for the Hide and Seek we would give clues every hour by cell phone but we could hide anywhere in the entire resort

I think it what would be REALLY awesome is to get people from these boards to participate in a huge WDWMagic scavenger hunt.

During your hide and seek game would you have to stay in one spot or will you be moving throughout the area?

I've done a scavenger hunt before. It was when I was a CP the people in my work place who were in charge of activities put one together. We were in groups of 4 and we had to go around and write down things like the names of the ferries at the TTC, what happens in a certain part of an attraction, and other things that we had to find and write down. Some of them were hard to find. It was pretty fun though.

I think that could be lots of fun but the whole resort that could take a long while!!!!

Sounds like a lot of fun for the finders, but it would be kinda boring for the hider staying in one spot until someone finds you.

Sounds like a blast, but personally, I think it would be best done in a single park, if the park's been rented out for the evening.

Besides- then you could hide somewhere that wasn't well lit, and wear dark clothes!

HAHAHA I am not meaning like hide to the point where no one can find you but hide in a general area like Tomorrow Land and as you give clues you can narrow it down to one spot as you know they are getting closer . You wouldn't have to stay in one spot all day though. You could always set a time limit!
As for the scavanger hunt, I think this may be more fun because then you get to go on more rides and attractions to find things...therefore getting the Disney Experience!

I love playing games like that.

I tried out something with my buddy (TheCEO) the other day. I hid a note for him in Epcot and he was supposed to find it the next day. Unfortunately his flight was delayed an entire day and it messed up his Disney itinerary and he didn't get to Epcot until a few days later. By then the note was gone, of course. Was still fun trying!

I think a scavenger hunt sounds like fun. Hide and seek, not so much. Maybe if you play hide and seek on Tom Sawyer's Island?

I can only imagine if you try and play in the whole resort, your group will be riding Space Mountain laughing the whole way thinking...he/she actually thinks we're looking for him/her. :lol:
