I'm sorry I must have taken my stupid pills this morning because I'm still confused. I've slept in the Royal Rooms and I still don't get why a 3 year old would make a difference. Is it a pricing difference?
I believe the OP has a total of five people. Two adults, two kids, and one baby would be okay. Two adults and three kids would be over capacity.

The pricing difference kicks in when we're talking about kids versus adults.

We paid for a kid's dining plan.
That's theft... to the tune of $40 per night. Not insignificant.

We're assuming here that she has 3 children, so once her "infant" turns 3 and becomes a child her family would exceed the room capacity of 2 adults and 2 children. A child 2 or under would be allowed in the room in a pack n play and not count against the room occupancy.

My parents lied about my age when I was a lot younger. Only like y'all are saying, they said I was 10 when I was actually 11 or something like that. I don't see anything "morally" wrong with that. It's the same as saying that it's your birthday and getting a free birthday dessert when it's not. (In fact, Disney encourages you to celebrate big events while there, even if they've already passed.) It's not like the OP is trying to pass off a 6 year old as a 2 year old.

Figment Pigments...i have two other kids...so four is the maximum capacity not counting the baby in a royal room at riverside...that0s the only reason i'm asking
Thank you everyone for your opinion...and thanks to some of you for not being judgemental

Bull****. When we're talking about paying $20 instead of $60 for the dining plan, that's exactly the same thing as walking into the Emporium and walking out with an giant Mickey plush every single day.

I think you're really making a mountain out of a mole hill here. Also, I never said anything about paying for a dining plan so I'm not really sure what you're on about. The dining plan didn't even exist when I was younger...

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize that there was more than one child. Clears it up significantly. This is a tricky one. I wouldn't fudge how many people are staying in the hotel, but I think you should be able to get the hotel room you reasonably want. Can you ask Disney for a roll away cot or crib if necessary?

He's talking about me taking making my daughter 9 when she was actually 10 (so she could qualify as a child for the dining plan).

The thing is..if i am using a royal room which is supposed to be for four people and we are five it would basically just mean that my toddler is sleeping in bed with me...which really is nobody's busines.. not exactly lack of integrity IMHO
I don't need any other bed..he actually does sleep in bed with me all the time :)

Well obviously you've never lied before!
You opened with "anyone ever lied..." What does "integrity" mean to you besides "not lying"?
Well not this I'm sorry...never met anyone in my life who hasn't ever lied once. And I know plenty of people

Our son turned three in the middle of our trip a few years ago. Since he was still two when he began the trip, we didn't bother to let anyone know that he was three during the last few days.

And that's perfectly fine, since he was not 3 when you booked rooms, purchased tickets, etc.

Marking your child as 2 also means you wouldn't be paying for a ticket or meals. So we are talking much more that just trying to fit into one room,

That's a fallacious argument. If I punch somebody in the face it doesn't mean it's a good thing to punch people in the face or that it would be wrong for me to advise people against doing so. I didn't say you were a bad person in general, but this would be a bad decision.

I don't mean to be trouble, but she ate what we paid for. It's not like we paid less for something and got more. I swear I am a law abiding citizen.
If you don't think you'll get a good value from the dining plan, the appropriate decision is to not buy the dining plan.

If you don't want to be judged, don't ask a question that might elicict judgemental answers. You apparently want someone to tell you that something you think might be wrong is actually OK - if you didn't have doubts you never would have posed the question. Millions of people skirt the rules every day - they just don't bother trying to get absolution for it on the internet.

Do what YOU think is best for YOU and your family, regardless of what others might think. WDW isn't going to draw and quarter you if they discover the truth - the worst that will happen is you'll have to pay up.
