Anyone Ever Get a FLA Resident AP Without a FLA ID?

I've heard of people getting some kind of very basic Florida ID card that shouldn't void your other state license with nothing more than a hotel address. This was as recent as a few years ago. They had no trouble getting a Universal FL resident AP with that, so I would imagine getting a Disney resident AP wouldn't be a hassle either.

This is correct.. I was a temporary FL resident back in 2009, for 5 months and was planning on 5 trips that year. I did receive a florida paycheck which helped. There is a state ID you can get that is just an ID. Some people get them because they need to cash checks in Florida, but it can be a hassle for an out of state check and out of state ID. So I got the ID they offered. There are some restrictions, but if you visit the FL Dept of Transportation, It will give you the answers you need.

I was able to use my student ID when I was a student, so I don't think Disney's idea of Florida resident is the same as the official definition. It was a p.i.t.a. to become a Fla resident with my university!
